Project Overview
Most projects do not have the luxury of time, and this one certainly fit that bill. With a warehouse lease expiring in three months, RXO Logistics needed to move their 23,000 SF warehouse and distribution center into a larger near-by facility. Plan North Partners was engaged to manage this rapid relocation right as the new lease was being signed. PNP implemented the science of project management to deploy an expedited timeline for (1) a minor design and build-out of the front offices (2) the relocation of 20,000 SF of warehouse equipment and 3,000 SF of offices, and (3) a full decommissioning of the old space. Weekly calls lead by PNP were essential to keep everyone on-task and on-schedule. In the end, RXO was able to transition to their new space without running over their lease.
