Project Overview

The Owner of Eernisse Funeral Home felt their building’s interior was stuck in the 1970’s and in need of a major facelift. With a roughly $500k budget for furniture, fixtures, lighting, and amenities, Plan North Partners was hired to maximized the impact of the owner’s investment by bidding out the largest contracts to multiple vendors and making sure the project ran smoothly from start to finish. The Hendricksen design team helped select the majority of the FF&E, and when a lighting option triggered the enforcement of a code update, PNP worked with Hendricksen and the client to find an alternative that was code compliant. The alternative lighting prevented the client from spending ten’s of thousands of dollars in code-mandated updates, yet still delivered a bright and modern luminosity to the overall space.
